There are two sci-fi classics from the 1970s that had more problems than any other movie from that decade. First obviously Star Wars and we already explained which of the knockoffs you should see in the previous video, so go check it out if you want more lasers and space battles in your life.

Because this time, we’re talking about adapting some games from the 1970s, A stranger. A simple monster movie in space became a breakthrough technology that changed the future of science fiction and horror movies. And because it was such a popular success, you know the movies will continue to be inspired and ripped off directly A stranger for many years to come.

Therefore, we have decided to explore the vastness of space and the depths of the oceans to find the cream of the xenomorphic species. I’m Drew Dietsch from Giant Freakin Robot and this is the top 10 A stranger knockoffs are basically your turn.

10. Contamination (1980)

You know we had to include the ripoff maestros, the Italians, and we had a lot of options to choose from. Heck, the Italians even went so far as to make a movie called it Aliens 2! But let’s just combine Italian into one A stranger knockoff and it has to be from our favorite Italy Star Wars ripoff director, Starcrashand Luigi Cozzi. These are Pollution.

Released the following year A stranger, Pollution it brings evil alien eggs to Earth because it’s cheaper than building spaceships. Lots of fun, bad and interesting things like olives used as alien eggs or the giant monster Cyclops. Pollution a perfect example of the cheesy fun of Italian ripoffs.

9. Lily Cat (1987)

Anime in the 1980s took a lot of inspiration from A stranger. So much so that it came around with a short anime fan film, Alien: Monday. But Lily CAT it’s the only one that makes it to the full stage.

He also imitates John Carpenter’s The thing, Lily CAT is a simple and straightforward story about astronauts being threatened by an emerging alien bacteria. Like most anime of the 80s, the violence and salaciousness have been changed max. In less than 70 minutes, Lily CAT and a quick and steady pulse of A stranger give goodness.

8. Life (1985)

It hit theaters in 2020 and was quickly forgotten. It’s their loss because when it comes to the big studio A stranger knocking, In the water he is very successful.

Excellent production, compelling script, and terrific visuals In the water kind of sci-fi The horrors we never get out of Hollywood. If this flew under your radar, do yourself a favor and check it out In the water. It’s only 95 minutes! Bless these A stranger movies and their clear moments.

4. Extreme Events (1997)

Hey, I think we talked about this movie before! Of course, you can watch our full video Event Horizonbut it’s worth noting that director Paul WS Anderson wasn’t shy about what he did in the production Event Horizonand A stranger it’s all in the movie.

3. Deep Rising (1998)

A group of crooks must deal with a ship that appears to be abandoned and begins to crash with a mysterious monster? No, you didn’t come back BoatswainYou have saved a paragraph on Argonautica it’s an absolute blast that it is High Rise.

Another banger ensemble cast and blockbuster results from Mother director Stephen Sommers allows High Rise being a popcorn treat that always entertains. If you’re not smiling in this movie, you might want to check your emotions.

2. Pitch Black (2000)

Before doing anything but Fast & Furious movies, Vin Diesel stars as Riddick the criminal in the Pitch Blackone of the best sci-fi horror movies of the 2000s.

You have a routine A stranger story archetypes: incomplete astronauts, alien planet, unknown alien monsters. All of which work well but it’s the addition of the evil Riddick to the mix that gives this a really different flavor. And strange monsters are amazing. I will watch this over any other Vin Diesel movie anytime. …Except maybe The Iron Giant.

1. Outside (1981)

Very good A stranger A knockoff is basically a movie you’ve never seen or interacted with A stranger. Outside are really Western in space and Sean Connery playing a police officer in a mining area where the drug market is thriving. You have no strange beast inside Outside but the design, tone, and themes of the movie always make me disagree with it Outside it can happen in A stranger the environment.

It’s a well-received film that seems to have been forgotten by many. If you want to see a story that seems to be close to the risks of the industry A stranger, Outside it’s a home run and that makes it number one A stranger to knock.
