Antonio Rudiger would have faced an absence of 12 weeks after a thigh injury

Real Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger is said to be confronted 12 weeks on the sidelines after suffering a thigh injury.
The central rear suffered training injury this week after retirement from the international service with Germany.
Rudiger appeared in both games while Germany suffered an astonishing defeat against Slovakia during the World Cup qualifications, before bringing back its campaign on the right track with an unconvincing victory against Northern Ireland.
A Madrid declaration read: “After tests carried out on Toni Rudiger by the Real Madrid medical services, he was diagnosed with a muscle injury of the femoral rectus in his left leg. Pending further development. “
Although Madrid did not confirm a time scale for his return, several reports in the Spanish press said that Rudiger was facing an absence of 10 to 12 weeks.
A 12 -week layoff would prevent Rudiger until the Laliga clashed with Celta Vigo on December 7.
The former Chelsea defender will miss the derby with Atletico Madrid on September 27 and the first classico of the season in Barcelona on October 26 among a multitude of other League matches. In addition, it will not be available for five games from the Champions League, including meetings with Juventus and Liverpool.
Madrid won three consecutive games to start the new Laliga season under Xabi Alonso. They visit the Real Sociedad on Saturday.
