The wireless editions of the “Samsung edition are just enough

If you are a fan of Samsung and you see a “Fe” brand, you probably think of a few things. The first thing that comes to mind is probably: “I save money.” For those who do not commonly speak the Samsung jargon, Fe, which is actually short for “fan edition”, is the equivalent of SE in Apple-Speak, which means that it is a more favorable alternative to a budget for flagship gadgets. But these are not only the savings you want when you are looking for something FE – you also want quality. Maybe you don’t expect each bell and whistle in the wheelhouse, but you want a lot.
I also want a lot of good things, and I don’t want to pay for that, that’s why when I got my hands on Samsung Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Fe, my expectations were high. And at $ 150, they could be even higher than usual. It’s not that $ 150, it’s too much money in the world of wireless headphones, it is that there are a ton of competitors in this range, and many of them strike above their weight category – Buds 4, ear of nothing, and Google 2A pixels, for example.
So, the next logical question is how the Galaxy Buds 3 FE deal with competition, and if we already know that there are integrated compromises, what are they exactly? On this front, I have good news and bad. Let’s start with good things.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Fe
The new goals Galaxy Buds from Samsung 3 Fe Wireless sound well, but the delay in certain key departments.

-
Same blade design as buds 3 pro

The ANC is at best intermediate

Not as rich in functionality as competing buds
-
The design of the blade looks good but is not super to touch
FE price with its lighthouse

I will not chew the words; I really like the way the Sound Galaxy Buds 3 Fe. For wireless headphones in this price range, they sound (at the risk of hyperbola) shocking. They don’t have as many bass as some competitors like OnePlus and its recent pair, The OnePlus Buds 4, but personally, I don’t mind at all – I don’t hide in the bass when it comes to wireless headphones. I am more likely to appreciate the buds that attenuate the distortion, and I would describe the Galaxy Buds 3 FE as pleasantly without a legal legal.

I find that, despite being less private, the Galaxy Buds 3 FE have a truly natural sound scene, with mediums and light highs, which make the voices feel audible and present, and the music that accompanies it distinct. I tested the Galaxy Buds 3 f back to back against the OnePlus Buds 4, listening to Gorillaz’s new single, “The Happy Dictator”, and the experience was a bit shocking, but I think I prefer the audio setting of Samsung. I could hear voices in advance, background voices felt cleverly hidden, surgery synths occupied their own legitimate space in the average and high range, and I did not detect a lot of distortion even with the volume turned almost all along. If you focus on the bass, you will probably disagree with me, but the Galaxy goals 3 fe are My preference.
What is FE taking?

So there is the highest point – sound. But what about what you don’t like? For me, it is the active cancellation of noise (ANC). As much as I like to listen with the Galaxy Buds 3 Fe when I am in a relatively calm environment, I find that the attraction is slightly hiding in the New York City Living cacophony. One of the biggest tests that you can pass a pair of Ancient Wireless headphones is the New York metro system – a glove that I send almost all the pairs of wireless headphones – and in this case, I would say that the Galaxy 3 FE buds barely pass the test. When a train arrives, I do not hear what I listen to, and even while I get into the metro, I always receive a decent amount of ambient noise in my environment.
I do not think that it is a problem of cancellation of passive noise – the defaults feel comfortable, but even if it was the case, the Galaxy Buds 3 Fe are also delivered with two peak sizes, which is significantly less than the other competitors at similar prices, which offer between three and five sizes. I will give a little soft to Samsung here so simply because the last pair of old wireless headphones that I tested are bosecomfort Ultra bosecomfort headphones (2nd generation), which cost $ 300 and are designed specifically to cancel the devil of all the noise that surrounds you. They are the best to cancel the noise of all the wireless headphones that I put in my ears. But still, I expected more Samsung, especially when I did not have such complaints concerning the OnePlus 4 Buds.
While the Galaxy Buds 3 FE are good for slight cases of noise cancellation – they are especially well on the sidewalk in New York when I walk to place – it is not the wireless headphones for which I spring up on a plane or during a metro frame in New York.
Things that are good with the Galaxies Buds 3 Fe

You have good and not so good, but what about both? There are levels for this kind of thing, after all. I think that the best encapsulation of things that are very good in these wireless headphones are compostic and tactile controls. It is not the best I have ever used, but they are fine. Interestingly, Samsung includes two types of commands on the Galaxy Buds 3 Fe. To adjust the volume, you slide up or down on the buds, while jumping tracks, in pause / play and lighting anc and extinguating, are realized. Like compression controls, you will have to adapt to sensitivity at first, but once you do it, most of them work well.
I say “most” because I find – because the Galaxies Buds 3 Fe are so light – that press them jostling a little in my ear. They do not fly at mid-transduction or anything, but the compression seems slightly more tenuous than on other pairs of wireless headphones. Adding to this tenuous, I think, is the “blade” design of Samsung, which is borrowed from its flagship Galaxy Buds 3 Pro product for this version of the FE. My complaint has nothing to do with the way the blade design copies the airpods – I actually like the appearance of the Galaxy Buds 3 Fe – but one thing I don’t like is what it feels on my fingers.
Because of the way the buds are located when they are in your ears, the blade edge faces the front, which means that when you are going to tighten, you can really tighten a clear angle, which (although it is not the biggest problem in the world) simply does not seem quite right. I prefer to tighten a flat surface (a flatter rod with a larger surface). It is a small tactile detail in the scheme of things, but as long as we become old -fashioned on this subject, it is worth mentioning.

Although I don’t like the feeling of the blade design, I really like the look. They are simple in the scheme of things, but I find them a little elegant. I also like the way they appear when they are in my ears, although the blade is a decent length and can sometimes end up going out if I do not put them properly in my ears. Enemies will say that the design of the blade is only a scam of the AirPods, and congratulations, the enemies, you are right. That being said, the Airpods are beautiful (if a little boring), in my opinion, and I think that Samsung does a good job to put a little touch to Apple minimalism.
In accordance with the theme of the section, the lifespan of the Galaxy Buds 3 FE battery is also good. The buds are evaluated for 6 hours of autonomy while the ANC is activated and 8.5 hours when it is disabled, and with my use, these estimates seem precise. With the load box, the total battery hour is up to 24 hours with anc by an anc and up to 30 hours with. It is roughly the same battery that you would get with most of the wireless headphones in this price range, give or take about half an hour. Sorry, if the longest battery life is a priority, you will only have to spend more money on wireless headphones.
Regarding the features, the Galaxy Buds 3 FE are decently equipped but not overflowing. You get ancient adaptive, 360 audio (version of Samsung from space audio), the transparency mode, and you can choose EQ presets in the portable galaxy application, but there is no personalized adjustment test as there is on the OnePlus Buds 4 or no ear. The latter is a little disappointing, because a personalized equalizer can considerably change the sound quality of my experience.
Rich -rich in functionality or not, the Galaxy Buds 3 FE are always nice consonance buds at a fairly affordable price. I think, however, that Samsung has room to improve in the ANC department, and if you are looking for the most Everything, going to be is not the way. But if you like Samsung Galaxy products and you focus more on quality sound on something else, it may be your choice without cost too much.
