Trump is launching an American defamation trial of $ 15 billion against the New York Times

US President Donald Trump put a defamation trial of $ 15 billion against the New York Times on Monday and four of his journalists on Monday, said court documents.
The trial brought by the American district court in Florida appoints several articles and a book written by two of journalists of the publication and published in the direction of the 2024 elections, saying that they were “part of a model of several decades by the New York Times of intentional and malicious defamation against President Trump”.
“The defendants have published these declarations negligently, with knowledge of the falsity of declarations and / or with a reckless contempt for their truth or their falsehood,” said the trial.
The New York Times did not immediately respond to an email asking for a comment early Tuesday.
In a social article of truth announcing the trial, Trump accused the New York Times of lying about it and defaming it, saying that it has become “a” spokesperson “for the Democratic Party of the Radical Left”.
Trump continued other media, including the filing of a defamation trial of $ 10 billion against the Wall Street Journal and the Rupert Murdoch media tycoon in July after the newspaper reported a story on its links with the rich financier Jeffrey Epstein.
