Cardi B is pregnant with his fourth child. It will be his first with the boyfriend Stefon Diggs, the wide receiver of the New England Patriots.

The award -winning rapper at Grammy Award revealed the news on Wednesday in an interview with Gayle King on CBS Mornings.

“I am excited. I am happy,” she told King. “I have the impression of being in a good space. I feel very strong. I feel very powerful that I do all this work. But I do all this work while I create a baby; me and my man, we are very favorable to each other.”

She added that she and Diggs are in similar positions because they are both ambitious and are among the “largest” in their respective fields.

Cardi B also said Diggs made her feel safe.

“I mean, like, two weeks ago, I had literally a panic crisis. I was, like, crying, crying and crying, just because I was really nervous with you, all the deployment of the album,” she said, referring to her next sophomor, Am I the drama?released on Friday.

“People came to me very strongly. You know, sometimes people love you, people hate you. And people just said very mean things about me.

“He makes me feel very confident,” she added. “To feel safe is to feel confident.”

Cardi B has three children from his previous marriage with the rapper offset: Daughters Blossom, 1, and Kulture, 7 years old, and his Wave, 4. Diggs also has a daughter of a previous relationship, Nova, born in 2016.

They were secretly married in September 2017 in Atlanta. They only announced their commitment to month later. Cardi B had already asked for her husband’s divorce in 2020, saying that their marriage was “irreparably broken”, although they then canceled this. Then, in 2024, she announced that she had asked for the divorce.

Cardi B and Diggs representatives did not immediately respond to the request for comments from the Associated Press.
