The lawyer says that Hackenburg is a “delusional” individual
Beyond the illicit use of official money, Hackenburg would have left a trace of false accounts, trying to hide his activity with fabricated financial reports and to retain key information from colleagues.
She even diverted money for municipal spending, such as road repairs, for her own needs.
The District Prosecutor of the Center Center County, Crystal Hundt, told court that Pamela Hackenburg was delusional, that his “activities and behaviors are devoid of remorse for the abuse of her position and the damage she has inflicted on this community”.
The former office holder in disgrace was accused of three charges, his prison sentence accompanied by 24 -month probation for identity theft and fraud of access systems.
