The BCSC lightens investment fraud to finance the SPREE game

In Surrey, British Columbia, a man would have used money obtained from investors to finance a large gaming frenzy.
According to the BC Securities Commission (BCSC) in Canada, David Lawrence Pazurik accumulated 200,460 CADs ($ 145,600) with 14 investors as the only operator behind Pazman Promotions, an entity that would be “in the field of purchase and personalization of brand goods for other companies”.
Currently, none of the allegations against Pazurik has been proven, the commission which was to hold an audience on the issue.
According to the BCSC, the alleged fraudulent activity would have taken place between January 2021 and May 2022, Pazurik using the product of the game and other personal expenses.
A press release from the Commission explained how he had burned almost 75% of the funds collected, around $ 146,000, with certain payments also made to the Pazurik partners.
Consequently, the BCSC alleys that it committed a violation of fraud under the securities law of the province.
BCSC to plan an audience on the alleged law on the violation of securities
The premise of the program was an investment in a profit sharing agreement, thanks to support for sales contracts in the commercial activity of Pazman Promotions. Customers have been informed that they would be online for “reimbursement of their funds plus a specific amount of profits in a short time”.
Communication from the authority of British Columbia detailed that this did not materialize, without payable to investors, as promised.
Pazurik or its representatives were now called upon to submit to the BC Securities Commission on November 18, before planning an audience to reign over the situation.
As an independent provincial government’s organ, the BCSC delivery is to set the rules, monitor and perform the application on the investment market, to ensure that it is “honest, fair, competitive and dynamic”.
