The Telangana of India reprimands bets online with six simultaneous raids

India’s repression against illegal online bets continues with six simultaneous raids in the Telangana region.
The Indian authorities have set the tone for their attitude towards online games of chance, which is illegal in the country, with a warranty warning in March before prohibiting practice in August. This followed the blocking of more than 1,500 game game sites in July.
Now, the Telangana Criminal Investigation Service (CID) has carried out simultaneous raids on six sites in Rajasthan, Gujarat and Punjab in the first repression on the national scale of online games. This led to the arrest of eight alleged operators linked to illegal Paris platforms.
The raids were carried out by six coordinated teams on Monday September 22 and Tuesday, September 23. The targeted operators were identified using game applications, including Taj0077, Fairply.live, Andhra365, VLBook, Telugu365 and Yes365.
What triggered the raids?
The eight alleged authors are accused of having allegedly tempting people in high risk bettors who found themselves in financial losses for several players. The raids have seen the entry of several hardware devices with data connected to illegal Paris networks.
The investigation remains in progress, according to the CID, as reported by the Hindus. The data found on hard drives is examined to draw cash flows and digital imprints linked to the operation.
The first results suggest that the leaders of the organization could be based abroad, those arrested so far as local managers working in the network in India. However, a more in -depth investigation should draw more conclusions on a wider potential union behind the illegal game network.
The presence of illegal game networks has already been warned by Indian ministers before passing the bill to the ban on playing online. However, it should be noted that it is not yet clear if this network appeared before or after the ban in August.
