Light & Wonder appoints a new VP in the middle of a “central moment” for the company


Light & Wonder has announced a new executive vice-president (EVP) and a world director of corporate affairs in the middle of a “pivotal moment” for the company.
The Multiplateform games company announced the appointment of Rohan Gallagher as an executive vice-president (EVP) and World Director of Business Affairs on September 25. The newly created role will be based in Sydney and will be responsible for relations with investors, the environment, social and governance, social responsibility of companies and global communications.
“While Light & Wonder goes to a unique list on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), the richness of experience and leadership of Rohan in corporate affairs will be decisive for us, both on the Australian market and around the world,” said Oliver Chow, financial director of Light & Wonder. “I have been working with Rohan for many years at different titles, and his knowledge of the game industry, and what it takes to succeed, are unprecedented.”
A not so new introduction to Light & Wonder
Gallagher is not new to Light & Wonder, having directed the initial institutional coverage of Light & Wonder in Australia. Speaking about his new appointment, Gallagher focuses on growth and new areas so that the company is accompanied, to come after having announced its intention to crush its debt with a plan of $ 1 billion.

Gallagher brings years of experience in investors relationships, analysis of institutional research in several sectors, including games. Before joining Light & Wonder, he worked in the Garden group as Managing Director within their group of institutional actions, where he held management positions between sales, research and business brokerage functions.
