A new month is on our doors, and for Lego, a new record: the release of the most expensive Lego game ever made (so far, at least), in the new Star Wars UCS Death Star. But while a very large disc could eclipse what is along the way this month, it is not the only thing that comes from Lego.

October could be a “silent” month for the brick manufacturer, 9,023 pieces of the death of the stars, but there are still some strengths beyond the elephant in the shape of a super-arme in the room. The LEGO Game Boy impatiently strikes the shelves this month, just like some additional sets of Wednesday. It is also time to get into the spirit of the season … But not really the fantasy, because Lego looks at the holidays with a range of festive kits.

Here are the highlights of what comes from Lego this month.

The latest Lego ideas dive into a crossover tinged with perfect horror for the frightening season, because the adorable Mogwai Gizmo becomes a breathtaking model that you don’t do it must worry about the consequences of food after midnight. Alas, there is no way to completely transform the whole into the most sinister shape of Gizmo, but in addition to the ability to build it standing or sitting, the whole presents posable arms and ears, as well as a set of 3D glasses built in brick to put on its head. ($ 110, available here)

Lego Wednesday Sets

WednesdayThe second season is still enlightening the charts of Netflix, so Lego is more than happy to continue to make more sets inspired by the Addams Family series (and once again, this is the favorite period of the year on Wednesday this month!). I don’t want to burn a hole of a thousand dollars in your pocket this month, Star Wars fans? Well, what would you say about something very different: a Walker on a Midi scale, unlike everything we have ever seen from Lego, because it seems to be gingerbread! Outside the traditional advent annual calendar, it is very rare that Lego Star Wars Starts on seasonal sets, so it’s fun to see LEGO go to the theme here, lights that were sworn around the AT-AT armor to an interior equipped to do to look like a small festive living room.

If all this was not enough, it is even delivered with a completely unique figure in the form of a Dark Vader to gingerbread – whose laser light can be exchanged with a candy rod, to make good measure. ($ 60, available here)

More Lego holiday games

Star Wars is not the only festive season to come this month, because it really seems that Lego is largely jumping Halloween in October. There are a variety of Christmas sets to highlight this year, from manufacturer ornaments to add Santa Claus to the recent range of figurines at Lego scale, but for the more dedicated manufacturer, there is a whole new vacation train to do around your tree (if you buy the additional parts necessary to self-manage them, that is to say), or even around other holiday groups.
