Everything to remember before seeing ‘Tron: Ares’

The world of Tron returns to theaters next week with Tron: Ares, And it’s a much more complex world than you think. Buttocks is the third film of Tron Franchise, which also included an animated television program, games, comics and more. All this works because in 1982, the screenwriter-director Steven Lisberger created this computer world in the event of time, with his own rules, language and more.

Tron is all about the construction of the world, both on screen and extinguished. Kevin Flynn

Played by Jeff Bridges, Kevin Flynn is a engineering programmer who was dismissed by a company named Encom and opened his own arcade, Flynn. Encom is now managed by Ed Dillinger, who has stolen and took the credit of Flynn’s work. In an attempt to prove that it is scammed, Flynn enters Encom and is later sent to the grid by an evil safety program called MCP, or Master Control Program. Once on the grid, Flynn realizes that his computer skills make him a great force and, with the help of certain other programs, he ends up destroying the MCP and proves that Dillinger has torn him. At the end of the first film, he made the CEO of Encom.

WTF is a tron?

The Homonym of the film, Tron, is the name of a heroic security program that protects the grid. It is played by Bruce Boosleitner (who also plays Flynn’s good friend, Alan Bradley) and is one of the programs that helps Flynn to defeat the MCP in the first film. The character returns Tron: inheritanceFirst like evil, reprogrammed “rinzler”, before returning to good and sacrificing himself to Flynn.

Tron is also the name of a game that Kevin Flynn created in Encom after his experiences on the grid, which becomes incredibly popular in the world of films.

Talk about

On the grid, there are “programs” (which are explicit) and “users”. Only one user, so far, has ever entered and appeared on the grid: Flynn. And while there, he must avoid being “degenerate”, which is a sophisticated way of saying “killed”. When it is on the grid, a person’s life is linked to his “identity disc”, whom he carries on her back.

Games

The games are a large part of the grid. Sometimes they are users controlled games, but often they occur between programs as a way to view their IT. The most famous game is Lightcycle, which is essentially a sophisticated snake game where you cannot run in your own tail. The second film, Tron: inheritancealso introduced other games, including one where you launch your record on others.

Between films

Seven years after having become CEO of Encom, Kevin Flynn disappears, leaving his son, Sam, behind. With Kevin presumed dead, Sam becomes the main shareholder of Encom. He’s just a child, however, then other people enter management positions until he ages. One of these people is Ed Dillinger Jr., son of the executive in disgrace of the first film, played by Cillian Murphy.

Tron: inheritance

When a mysterious signal recalls the now cultivated SAM (Garrett Hedlund) to the abandoned arcade of his father, he is transported to the grid and becomes the second user forever materialized there. During his stay, Sam finally found his father, Kevin, whom he learned had been trapped there. Years earlier, Kevin was trying to use and build the grid in something whose real world could benefit from the aid of Tron and a program he created named Clu, which was essentially his digital double.

It was then that Kevin and Clu discovered a whole new form of life existing on the grid, that they called “ISO” (isomorphic algorithms). Kevin thought that the isos were the breakthrough he needed to change the world for the best. But Clu disagreed and rebelled. He destroyed the isos, trapped Flynn and took control of the grid.

During LegacyWe look at Sam, Kevin and the final ISO, Quorra (Olivia Wilde), working to defeat Clu and help Kevin and Sam get out of the grid.

Flynn’s fate

In order to save Sam and Quorra, Flynn ends up recombing with Clu, who destroys them both. Or we thought before we see the trailer to Buttocks.

The cliffhanger

Tron: inheritance Then, ends with Sam, now in full control of Encom, with Quorra in the real world. It is the key to a whole new branch of human and digital evolution, because it has not been created biologically. The film ends with this promise of the persistent future.

Tron: Ares

Trailers of Tron: Ares, We know that Commoy has become a successful video game company and another Dillinger, Julian (Evan Peters), has a rival company and manages its own grid.
