Arcadia police went downhill in a mansion to find an illegal casino, drug activity and 15 young children -

A California manor has been attacked several times to discover an illegal casino, drug activity and no less than 15 children.

Arcadia police in California have made several raids on Pacific Place, a closed complex of office and warehouse buildings and found evidence of illegal play, drug activity and 15 children, most of them for toddlers. The raids have taken place four times over three years, the authorities finding new crimes each time, including an illegal casino with electronic game tables. The police seized these machines on December 9, 2021.

The owner of the property and father of 22 children, Guojun Xuan, 65, told the police that all children except two were born from substitutes. The presence of so many young children has made Kollin Cieadlo, lieutenant of the Arcadia police service, and his detectives suspect that they had discovered a human trafficking network. Xuan and her partner, Sylvia Zhang, 38, told the police that they “simply wanted to have a big family,” said Times. No accusation was made against the couple.

Discover an illegal casino

The investigation was launched when Arcadia police asked the FBI to examine Xuan and Zhang after learning that they had transferred money to substitutes and traveled through the state to recover the children. This led to the discovery of illicit drugs on a property belonging to Xuan in El Monte, California, which he praised.

Other evidence have led the authorities of EL Monte to file a request for a civil reduction against Xuan and others linked to Pacific Place, laying the basics of a series of police raids which would reveal evidence of alleged illegal games and manufacturing of drugs. The authorities of El Monte claim to have found evidence on Xuan’s property of a “well -established, sophisticated and persistent criminal enterprise”, including trash bags full of drugs, firearms and counterfeit currency.

Although Xuan and Zhang have not been charged, local authorities examine evidence to potentially accuse them of child abuse, Arcadia police asking other agencies to help examine several weeks of video.

“Our intention is 100% to have charges deposited,” said Cieadlo.

Currently, the Department of Children and Family Services of the County of Los Angeles has taken custody of the children, some would have already found houses via a reception placement.
