Trump authorizes the deployment of the National Guard in Chicago

President Donald Trump authorized the deployment of 300 national guard troops in Chicago to combat what he says is a crime outside control.

This decision occurred a few hours after the immigration authorities said they had faced demonstrators in the city led by Democrats and killed an armed woman when she and others hit their cars in law enforcement vehicles.

The leaders of the State and the premises criticized for weeks the deployment plans of Trump and called it an abuse of power. Illinois governor JB Pritzker said Trump “was trying to make a crisis.”

The announcement came as a federal judge in Portland, Oregon – another liberal city – temporarily blocked the Trump administration to deploy 200 soldiers.

Judge Karin Immergut described Trump’s statements on the conditions in Portland “open to the facts” and said that this decision violated the Constitution.

She said that the use of soldiers to suppress disorders without the state of the consenting Oregon risking the sovereignty of this state and others, adding that he also ignited tensions in the city and caused increased demonstrations.

IMMERGUT has ruled that the arguments of the administration for deployment “risk blurring the border between the civil and military federal power – to the detriment of this nation”.

It is likely that a legal challenge will also be filed on any deployment in Chicago. It is not known if troops have still been deployed in the democratic city.

The city is the last – of which many led by the Democrats – to be targeted for a controversial deployment of troops, joining Washington, Los Angeles, Memphis and Portland.

The deployments have posed both legal and constitutional questions, because the troops of the National Guard are generally deployed by the governor and the centenary laws of a state limit the use by the government of the military for internal issues.

Chicago experienced an increase in demonstrations concerning the application of immigration to the city, many of which occurring outside of American immigration and customs application.

“In the midst of the violent riots in progress and anarchy, which local leaders like (Gov) Pritzker refused to intervene for whol, President Trump authorized 300 national guards to protect officers and federal assets,” said White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson. “President Trump will not make his eyes on his eyes with the anarchy that distressed American cities.”

On Saturday – Just before Trump authorized the troops there – the staff of the American border patrol shot a woman in Chicago after a group of people struck cars in immigration vehicles, the Ministry of Homeland Security (DHS) said in a statement. The woman was armed, according to the press release.

Women’s injuries were not clear. DHS said she went to a local hospital.

Earlier this week, the president spoke of his ongoing military deployments in American cities while addressing high -ranking leaders across the army.

He told the military leaders that he wanted American cities to be used as “training grounds” for American troops so that they can fight “the enemy of the interior” and suffocate the troubles.

“These are very dangerous places and we will straighten them one by one,” he said about cities led by Democrats, including Chicago. He told the military leaders that it would be “an important part for some people in this room”.

Trump threatened to send troops to Chicago for almost a month – citing crime and fire in the city.

Violent crimes in Chicago have decreased considerably over the past two years. Between January and June, the homicide rate decreased by a third in relation to the same period of last year, according to the Criminal Justice Council.

But the global levels in Chicago remain significantly higher than the average for many American cities. Last month, at least 58 people – eight deadly – during the working vacation weekend.
