“It’s very difficult to have …”: Ajit Agarkar on Shubman Gill by replacing Rohit Sharma as captain of ODI of India

“And we are still at two years old. It might seem long, but we don’t know how many games of a day that we could take. Closer to the World Cup, we could end up playing a little more than what we have. But the last game of a day we played was October 19. So, it’s a little challenge with a day. Said Agarkar.

“Of course, the accent was put on the T20 World Cup. But slowly, we will start to plan that this World Cup arrives. So, as a plan, it gives the guy the next time to plan with all the games we come. And it is very difficult to have three different captains for three formats. In terms of selectors, but more importantly, even for the coach, to plan with three different people,” He added.

Shubman Gill: The face of a new era

The Gill, 26, already captain of India and T20 vice-captain, is now responsible for directing formats through formats. His calm temperament, his tactical consciousness and his ability to occur under pressure earned him the confidence of selectors and the management of the team.
