‘Peacemaker’ has almost brought back all the gang of season 1

The second season of Peacemaker was all about alternative universes and led to the return of certain characters from last season and several films. With a single episode, a former notable will not make the cup, but James Gunn assured that the character was not at all forgotten.
During the first season, Chris worked for Clemson Murn (Chukwudi Iwuji), who turned out to be possessed by Ik Nobe Llok, an extraterrestrial butterfly who did not want to join the plans of his people for world domination. Murn died, but Gunn almost brought him back for this season, where he would have been in Terre-2 (or rather, Earth-X) like another member of the sounds of Libey alongside the vigilante trying to release the planet of the Nazis in title.
Instead of being “the worst guy in the world before he became a butterfly, murn on their planet was a hero of total action,” said Gunn on the last Peacemaker Podcast episode, comparing it more to a “Kick-Ass Harriet Tubman”. This would have been part of a more important scenario for the season which ended up being cut, but Gunn said that this idea “still exists. There is always the future, we have not exploded land-2 ”.
Recently, Gunn said Peacemaker would have a future, but not necessarily a third season. When he was asked the deadline on the return of the show, he declared at the point of sale “some of these characters will continue” after season two. The details will be presented in the upcoming final, but at the same time, it does not close the door during a real three -season season to come. It simply depends on what its always busy schedule looks like.
