The judge temporarily prevents Trump from sending the national guard troops to Oregon

On Sunday, a federal judge temporarily prevented the Trump administration from deploying units of the National Guard in Oregon, including the California National Guard.
California and Oregon asked for the temporary ban prescription after US President Donald Trump sent members of California in Oregon earlier during the day. On Saturday, the same judge temporarily prevented his administration from deploying troops from the Oregon National Guard in Portland.
A spokesperson for the Pentagon said in a previous declaration that around 200 Federal Mallers of the California National Guard who were in service around Los Angeles were reassigned to Portland. Oregon governor Tina Kotek said that around 100 arrived on Saturday and that 100 others were on Sunday. Kotek said that there had been no formal communication with the federal government on deployment.
The two states initially requested a closer order which would not have prevented the troops of the National Guard of California from being sent to Oregon, but asked that the order applies to all the troops of the National Guard after a note written by the secretary of war pete Hegseth was submitted to the court according to which up to 400 members of the staff of the Texas National Guard were activated for deployment in Oregon, Illinois and perhaps elsewhere.
Texas governor Greg Abbott said in an article on X on Sunday evening that he had authorized the call. “You can either fully apply the protection of federal employees, or move away and let Texas Guard do so,” he wrote.
This decision one day comes after the Governor of Illinois made a similar announcement on the troops of his activated state.
“This action seems (being) intentional to bypass yesterday’s decision by a federal judge,” Kotek said in a statement on Sunday.
“There is no need for military intervention in Oregon. There is no insurrection in Portland. No threat to national security. Oregon is our home, not a military target.”
A Kotek spokesperson said on Sunday that he could not check the current location of the members of the National Guard who arrived in Oregon on Saturday.
California Governor Gavin Newsom, on the other hand, said in a statement that California staff were on Sunday and qualified the deployment of “mistreating the law and power”.

He said that these troops were “federalized” and were put under the control of the president ago on his objections, in response to unrest in Los Angeles.
“The commander -in -chief uses the American army as a political weapon against American citizens,” said Newsom.
“We are going to take this fight in court, but the public cannot remain silent in the face of such reckless and authoritarian conduct by the President of the United States.”
Newsom said earlier on Sunday than about 300 custody members were sent from California. Messages were sent to his office trying to clarify the gap.
Trump “ outnourne ”
A federal judge committed to Trump in Oregon temporarily blocked the Trump administration plan to deploy the Oregon National Guard in Portland to protect federal goods in the midst of demonstrations after Trump called the city “ravaged by war”.
Oregon officials and Portland residents said the description was ridiculous.
US District Judge Karin Immergut, who was appointed by Trump during his first mandate, made the ordinance pending other arguments in a state and city trial.
US President Donald Trump says that he is deploying the National Guard “to protect the Rava Portland war”, in an article on social networks on Saturday. Julia Wong of CBC spoke with certain residents of the city before the arrival of the troops, which offered a different perspective on what they see.
She said that the relatively low demonstrations that the city have seen did not justify the use of federalized forces and that deployment could affect the sovereignty of the state of Oregon.
“This action bypassing the court’s decision and threatens to ignite a community that has remained peaceful,” said the mayor of Portland Keith Wilson.

The ICE building in Portland was recently the site of night events.
Trump characterized both Portland and Chicago while cities go upmarket with crimes and troubles, calling the first a “war zone” and suggesting that apocalyptic force was necessary to stifle problems in the latter.
Donald Trump’s plan to send the National Guard “to protect Portland ravaged by war” was faced with the perplexity of many people who live there. For the National, Ashley Fraser of CBC tries to go to the bottom of the American president’s fixation to the city of Oregon.
Since the start of his second term, he sent or spoke of sending troops to 10 cities.
Trump authorized the deployment of 300 troops from the Illinois National Guard to protect officers and federal assets in Chicago on Saturday.
The Office of the Governor of Illinois JB Pritzker said that the situation in Chicago “does not require the use of the military and, consequently, the governor opposes the deployment of the National Guard under any status”.
Pritzker has not received any call from federal officials about the deployment, said his office.
