According to the Hamas Ministry of Health, 11 other deaths resulting from malnutrition were reported in Gaza.
This brings the total number of deaths related to malnutrition to 212, including 98 children.
At least 38 people were also killed and 491 injured as a result of Israeli military activity in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health said.
Deaths continue to increase in the midst of information according to which a deadline of October 7, 2025 was established for residents to evacuate the city of Gaza after the announcement of a controversial Israeli plan to take control of the region.
The new plan, approved by the Israeli security firm and detailed on Friday, lists five “principles” to end the war in Gaza, one being “taking control of the territory security”.
Reports in the Israeli media indicate that the plan initially focuses on the total control of Gaza City, relocating its million residents estimated further to the south.
The plan has been criticized by the world leaders as well as the fierce opposition of some in Israel, including military officials and hostage families who are still held in Gaza who fear their security.
Israel rejected criticism, the Minister of Defense, Israel Katz, saying that the conviction would not weaken our determination “.
The United States was less critical – with Donald Trump saying earlier in the week than it was “about Israel” if it was necessary to fully occupy the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli media report that the government has established a deadline of two months before a military seat in Gaza City to start on October 7, 2025, the first anniversary of the start of the war.
During these two months, Israel plans to force on the million estimated Palestinians living in Gaza City, or about half of the number of people living in the entire territory.
Gaza City is the capital of the Gaza Strip. Its pre-war population was estimated at around 600,000 people, but this number has increased considerably throughout the war while the Israeli military campaign pushed the Palestinians into the city.
Many who live there have already been moved several times during the war and live in tents or the ruins of buildings that have been partially destroyed by Israeli air strikes.
The Israeli media report that the military would move the population to Al-Mawasi, a vast tent camp south of Gaza, which already houses thousands of Palestinians suffering from a lack of basic and sanitation facilities.
The plan is largely condemned by humanitarian agencies and, in fact, many allies of Israel for its potential to add an unspeakable human suffering to the shoulders of an already exhausted and besieged people.
The decision to take control of Gaza City will further complicate the capacity of Palestinians to meet their basic survival needs. Famine is already taking place throughout the Gaza Strip, with global food security experts not supported saying that “the worst case of famine is currently taking place”.
The UN humanitarian agency said on Friday that the amount of aid entering Gaza continues to be “well below the minimum required to meet the immense needs of people”.
Israel denied that there is famine in Gaza and accused the UN agencies of not having taken the borders and delivering it.
The UN humanitarian agency said it continued to see obstacles and delays while trying to collect the help of border areas controlled by Israeli.
The challenges in the distribution of aid persist as the death of people who try to make food continue to be reported.
The Gaza Ministry of Health said on Saturday that 21 people had been killed while trying to get help in the past 24 hours.
The UN reported earlier this month that 1,373 Palestinians had been killed in search of food since the end of May, when a new American and Israeli organization Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) has created aid distribution sites.
The UN said that most had been killed by the Israeli army, with 859 killed near the GHF and 514 sites along the roads of food convoys. The GHF denies the silhouette of the UN.
Israel accused Hamas of causing chaos near aid centers and says that its forces do not intentionally open fire on civilians.
Israel does not allow the BBC and other press organizations to appear independently of Gaza, which makes verification difficult.
In its announcement of the plan to conquer the city of Gaza, the office of the Israeli Prime Minister said that it would provide “humanitarian aid to the civilian population outside the combat areas”, but has not provided additional information on what it could cause.
Like the previous forced trips throughout the war, the expulsion of the Palestinians will probably see chaotic and dangerous scenes from families traveling on foot, by cart or by overloaded vehicles.
It was reported that after the deadline of October 7, 2025, the soldiers of Israel attended Gaza City and will increase its attacks. Hamas has promised to fiercely resist the attempt of Israel to conquer the city.
We can also see scenes similar to what the army has done in Rafah, in the south of Gaza and in the cities of the North, which were evacuated by force before being almost completely leveled in a systematic method.
If there are Hamas fighters who hold Israeli hostages in Gaza City, this period would prove to be the most deadly.
It is understood that Hamas has given the order to the kidnappers to kill hostages if the Israeli military troops are approaching near the hiding places.
It is estimated that 20 Israeli hostages remain alive in Gaza, some of which are detained around Gaza City.
Israel began its military offensive in Gaza after the attacks led by Hamas against Israel on October 7, 2023, during which around 1,200 people were killed and 251 others were taken hostage.
Since then, more than 61,300 people have been killed in Gaza following Israeli military operations.
