Palestinian and Israeli representatives are aimed at the UN meeting

Riyad Mansour, permanent observer from Palestine to the UN, and Jonathan Miller, assistant permanent representative of Israel at the UN, addressed an emergency meeting of the United Nations Security Council in New York.
Mansour said he appreciated the support declarations of other members of the Council, it was “not enough”.
“You have to act. You have to do something. You have to stop it,” he told other representatives.
Meanwhile, Miller called for the CSNU to orient their concentration on the dismantling of Hamas and that nothing less was “not the urgency but hypocrisy”.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu defended his government’s plan to take over the city of Gaza, saying that it was “the best way” to end the war.
