Australia ready to recognize the Palestinian state in the UN in September, says PM
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said on Monday that Australian recognition of a Palestinian state is based on the commitments that Australia received from the Palestinian Authority, including the Hamas Islamist militant group would have no involvement in a future state.
