Cristiano Ronaldo signed up for the longtime partner Georgina Rodríguez

Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo got engaged to his long -term partner Georgina Rodríguez.

She announced the news on social networks alongside a photo of a large ring, writing “Yes, I do it. In this life and in all my life” in her native Spanish.

No other details have been shared. Ronaldo, who is the most followed person in Instagram, has not yet commented on their commitment.

The couple has been together for nine years, after meeting in a Gucci store in Madrid where Rodríguez worked. He played at the time at the Spanish club of Real Madrid.

The Portugal and Al-Nassr player has five children in total, two of whom he shares with Rodríguez.

Their youngest daughter Bella was born in April 2022, alongside a little boy who was stillborn.

Rodríguez also helped to raise the three other children of Ronaldo.

The 31 -year -old woman, who played in her own reality TV show Netflix I Am Georgina, previously addressed speculation around her commitment status. In the program, she said that her friends “still joined for marriage”.

“Since Jennifer Lopez’s song” The Ring or When “has come out, they started singing it to me. Well, it’s not mine,” she added.

The family is currently living in the Saudi capital Riyadh, where the Ronaldo plays for Al-Nassr. He joined the club in December 2022 for an annual salary reported of 177 million pounds Sterling (238 million dollars).
