The UFC moves away from the payment model by view in favor of Paramount
“I could not be more excited to associate with Dana, Ari and Mark. Rarely present themselves to associate with an exclusive basis with global sporting power like the UFC – an organization with extraordinary global recognition, a scale and a cultural impact, “said David Ellison, president and CEO of Paramount.
“The advantage of Paramount lies in the vast range of our linear and streaming platforms. Live sports continue to be the cornerstone of our broader strategy – engine of engagement, growth of long -term subscribers and loyalty, and the addition of the essential UFC event to our platforms is a major victory.
“We are impatient to deliver this premium content to millions of fans in the United States, and potentially beyond.”
The organization of mixed martial arts has events all year round, with around 43 live events per year, which represents more than 350 hours of live content. According to the UFC, there are approximately 100 million fans in the United States which are “very committed” to linear, digital and social platforms.
The agreement, which begins next year, has an average annual value (AAV) of $ 1.1 billion, the contract for payment calendar, weighted more behind the agreement.
