The American jockey Joe Talamo was announced this week (August 11) as a full -time animator and racing analyst at Fanduel TV.

The 35 -year -old has won more than 2,300 career victories and won $ 130 million in handbag earnings, with more than two decades of race experience.

Talamo was the first apprentice jockey to win a riding title in Fair Gounds, then obtained championships on songs like Santa Anita and Ellis Park. He has 27 Grade I victories to his credit, with victories like the Breeders’ Cup Sprint and the Wood Memorial Stakes being some of the strengths.

He also participated in the international scene in Japan, Hong Kong and Dubai. He is no stranger to television life, because he began to appear on Fanduel TV on an independent basis this year.

Now, however, he will contribute to the company’s race cover, will provide an analysis of experts, lead interviews with figures from the industry and create educational content for racing fans.

“I am incredibly excited to join the Fanduel television team and bring my passion for life for horse racing to fans of the country,” Talamo said in a statement.

“After more than 20 years in the saddle, entering this new role allows me to share the stories, strategy and fractional decisions that define this sport from the inside.

Fanduel TV has live sports and sports programs, with the host Todd Schrupp welcoming Joe to the team and declaring that he was a “credit for the horse racing industry”.

“Joe represents exactly what we are looking for in our race coverage: the unique expertise of a winning jockey, combined with a engaging personality to connect with experienced disabled and new arrivals to sport,” said Michael Shiffman, senior TV vice-president.

“Its history is talking about itself, and its ability to assess the complex race strategy in an accessible manner will be invaluable for our viewers.”
