What is happening the day after the superintendent?

In other words, our future will be filled with AI assistants who drive a hunting rifle in our lives, increasing our experiences with advice optimized at each turn. In this world, the risk is not that we are asking for advice with AI reflex before using our own brain; The risk is that we would not need to ask – the advice will simply pass through our eyes and ears, shape our actions, influence our decisions and solve our problems before we had the chance to think for ourselves.

The “ increased mentality ” will transform our lives

I qualify this framework as “increased mentality” and it is about to hit society on a large scale through glasses, headphones and pendants powered by AI. It is the future of mobile computers, and he is already leading an arms race between Meta, Google, Samsung and Apple, because they position themselves to produce contextual AI devices that will replace mobile phones.

Imagine walking in the street in your city. You see a colleague heading for you. You don’t remember his name, but your assistant has the fact. He detects your hesitation and whispers the name of the colleague in your ears. The AI also recommends you to ask his wife’s colleague, who underwent surgery a few weeks ago. The colleague appreciates the feeling, then questions your recent promotion, probably the advice of his own AI.

Does this human empowerment or a loss of human agency?

It will certainly look like a superpower to have an AI in your ear that always has your back, ensuring you never forget a name, to always have full -minded things and is instantly alerted when someone you are talking about is not true. On the other hand, all those you meet will have their own have whispered in their own ears.
