Amorim confirms that Sesko is available to start in the opening against Arsenal

Manchester United boss, Ruben Amorim, confirmed that the new striker Benjamin Sesko is ready to start against Arsenal on Sunday.
The Red Devils put their new Premier League campaign to Old Trafford against their former enemies, having finished well behind the Gunners last season.
But this summer, Amorim added Sesko, Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha to the ranks, in order to bring the club back to the level where they are used to playing.
Speaking during his first pre-match press conference of the season, he said: “I am really happy, I think he has great potential, he can play different types of football.
“I can see Ben being an attacker for Man Utd for a long time, which is why we paid so much money to have an attacker who has a story in this club.
“We did not have much time but it is ready, physically it is ready, it is a big component of our league. It is ready to play, we will see if it will start.”
“”We want to go back to Europe, but it is difficult as a UTD man’s coach to say something like that.
“We are going to fight for that. We will improve, we want to focus on the game per game. ”
Bruno Fernandes will again lead the team as a captain in 2025-26, and he hopes that the spotlights will be on the team this quarter, rather than him.
Amorim agreed with his chief’s declaration, but admits that he always wants him to play a main role.
He added: “Even last season, when he played as a midfielder, he had more shots near the box.
“I think it’s a good thing for Bruno to stay in a position. Then he earns a lot.
“I want Bruno near the ball and it’s really important for our team, but sometimes we need Bruno near the goal. We will try to organize the game per game the best players in the best positions. ”
