The first Ne zha movieReleased in 2020 is a story that mixes elements of Chinese mythology with Buddhist, Confucian and Taoist influences. He follows Ne Zha (expressed by Crystal Lee), which is the reincarnation of a bad demon born of two human parents, Lady Yin (played by Michelle Yeoh) and Li Jing (represented by Vincent Rodriguez III).

In the first film, available to watch on Peacock, Zha manages to overcome a prophecy that predicts its destruction of the world.
