MGCB commands 15 illegal game sites to immediately stop Michigan operations

Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) has expressed letters to stop 15 illegal game operations that target local residents without state authorization.
Under the Michigan law, Internet games and sports betting can only be offered by those who are operators approved by MGCB. When they are without license, entities are not subject to independent tests or to consumer protection requirements.
Know the difference before playing. Michigan approved sites protect you – non -licensed offshore sites do not.

The 15 entities were all responsible for immediately stopping all Michigan oriented operations. Those who do not comply could face new measures to apply the law in cooperation with the General Department of Michigan.
“ Follow the law where we will stop you ‘, explains the executive director of the MGCB
“These illegal operators are trying to present themselves as legitimate entertainment options, but they do not offer any protection of players, no responsibility and a real risk for consumers,” said Henry Williams, executive director of MGCB.
“Our message is simple: if you want to offer games of chance in Michigan, follow the law or we will stop you. We will continue to work aggressively to keep the game illegal outside our state. ”
The ordered operators to stop offering games of chance in Michigan are: 7 bits Casino, Avia Games Inc., Grande Vegas Casino, High Country Casino, I Net Bet, Liberty Slots Casino, Lincoln Casino, Lucky Hippo Casino, Miami Club Casino, Vegas Casino Online and Vegas2web Casino Sun Palace, Vegas Casino Online and Vegas2web Casino.
Bravo to @Michigangcb For having taken decisive measures against illegal game operators. These cession and desire orders protect consumers and support the integrity of the legal market.

The regulator has also published a new “Legal vs gaming” web page on its website as part of the “Play It Smart, Michigan campaign. This aims to explain the difference between the authorized and unauthorized games in the state, while offering advice on the identification of illegal operators and lists all game operators and sports betting on the Internet who are authorized by the agency.
“False advertisements may seem convincing – sometimes even using logos or familiar names – but they can be nothing more than a gateway to offshore sites that put players in danger,” said Williams.
“Thanks to our Smart, Michigan, Michigan game, we give michiganders the tools they need to differentiate between the safe and legal game and dangerous and illegal operations.”
