While the entry -level roles eliminated, the CEO of Openai, Sam Altman, says that it is actually “the most exciting moment to start his career”

“I think that (a) 25 years old in Mumbai can probably do more than any previous 25 -year -old player in history,” said Altman in an episode of the People by wTf Podcast with Nikhil Kamath.

“I felt the same thing when I was 25 years old, and the tools were not as incredible as the tools we have now … A 25 -year -old child could then do things that no 25 -year -old man could have happened, and now it happens in a huge way.”

But Gen Z does not know the same exciting labor market as described by Altman. The entry -level positions decrease for ambitious and fresh graduates, as employers expect recruits to be fully qualified. Even if many young job seekers are desperate, the chief of technology said he was enchanted for young people because his jobs at the start of his career will seem “boring” in comparison. Compared, he said, generation Z will explore the solar system and will lock jobs with high-level wages.

“If I was 22 years old at the moment and I graduated, I would feel like the luckiest kid in the whole story,” he added.
