The man arrested for abuse of Semenyo racily receives the prohibition

A man arrested for suspicion of having abused Racial of Bournemouth striker Antoine Semenyo, during the opening of the Premier League in Anfield, was forbidden to attend football matches across the United Kingdom.

The incident occurred in the 29th minute of the Friday match against Liverpool, when Semenyo reported the abuse directly to the referee, leading to a brief stop at stake.

Merseyside police have confirmed that a 47 -year -old man from Liverpool had been arrested on Saturday, suspected of an offense of racially aggravated public order.

He was on conditional restrictions on restrictions which include the ban on participating in any regulated football match in the United Kingdom and a ban on going to less than one mile from an designated stadium.

Police added that the investigation remains underway and that they are working closely with the Liverpool Football Club.

Semenyo, 25, then addressed the incident on social networks, calling the night when he would never forget “because of the way the whole football family was held together”.

He thanked his Bournemouth teammates, the players and supporters of Liverpool, as well as the leaders of the Premier League, “who managed him professionally”.
