Webtoon wants the video and the comics under license to capture a new generation of readers

Webtoon adds a new short video feature on its digital band’s comic strip platform to continue developing its multiple faceted narration offers.

Many heavy webtoon strikers will obtain companion video episodes to complete the means to discover its large library. The English version of the application will launch this functionality with vocal narration, movement and partition to highlight the visual narration in a new way. Fourteen originals webtoon will now include five -minute video episodes in prizes of 20. More new episodes will fall throughout 2025.

There will also be video episodes for upcoming titles, which could include the main IP webtoon landed during its recent agreement with Disney. In this case, the recently published platform acquired Amazing Spider-Man (2022-print), Avengers (2012), Star Wars (2015), Stranger (2021), and Disney as old as time: a twisted story. In addition, the agreement has also negotiated new original stories from the studio.
