We have recently learned a network of private schools fueled by AI that teach students subjects at dizzying speed while avoiding annoying social or political ideas. The Alpha school, which prides itself on avoiding lessons on diversity, equity and inclusion, drew the attention of deep people like the billionaire Magi Bill Ackman. Now, new details on the academy have been shared by members of the school faculty.

Alpha is very different from most schools you have already heard of: young students from kindergarten to 12th year learn materials in two hours using “AI compatible software”. After that, the school says that the rest of the day is analyzed through a variety of physically and socially engaging activities, including workshops and commercial education exercises.

Indeed, Alpha is SO Different from other schools that he does not even have teachers. It is according to Joe Liemandt, the director of the school, who, during a recent appearance in the podcast, said that their institution does not use the word “teachers” and prefers the term “guides”. These guides, or whatever they are, seem well paid, because Liemandt also revealed that the salary for the human staff of Alpha begins at $ 100,000. So, yes, they don’t exactly look like teachers I know.

Another thing that distinguishes alpha from a more traditional learning institution is that children can earn money in class. “Your child can earn money by making academics, so that they can finance their passion projects,” said Liemandt during the Podcast, noting that funds can be used to “finance their passions, like flying somewhere to participate in a room or put it in an investment fund,” writes Business Insider.

You know how, when you are six years old, everything you really want to do is open an investment fund and deposit money in VC in your favorite unicorn? Well, now there is a place that really gives children what they want. Yes, it seems that the next generation of small capitalists eager for money germinates with extreme enthusiasm. Not surprising thatkman to be a fan.

Gizmodo contacted Alpha School and asked questions about his approach to the teaching of human sciences (that is to say subjects – like history and literature – that software may not be excellent for managing), but has not received an immediate response. As for Ackman, his hedge fund, Pershing Square Capital Management, previously refused to comment on the billionaire’s interest in school, a representative saying to us: “We do not have and (sic) of additional color to provide for the moment.”

In addition to pimping for the new futuristic academy, Ackman has spent much of the last year of pimping for Donald Trump. During the 2024 presidential campaign, he brilliantly promoted his billionaire colleague as a political candidate. This enthusiasm has decreased a little, however, when, earlier this year, it has become obvious that Trump’s pricing policies could land a large part of the stock market. In the midst of the darkest moments of Trump’s initial foray into a new economic system, Ackman warned that policies were “destroying confidence in our country as a trading partner, as a place to do business and as a market to invest in capital”. Fortunately, when the market has straightened up, Ackman saw the madness of its doubt and was welcomed in the fold.
