A game bust has led to the detention of twenty-two people in connection with illegal games in Texas.

According to the report of the Board of Sheriff of the county of Bexar, a total of sixty game machines were entered alongside $ 67,350. Quotes and accusations were issued as part of the bust which took place at the Royal Room 777 in the 2300 block on boulevard East Southcross.

The news of the bust, initially reported by Ksat, included an in -depth interview with the sheriff of the county of Bexar Javier Salazar. He spoke of the mechanisms involved in illegal activity and responsible parties.

The bust accomplices included 18 players and four employees of Royal Room 777, said Salazar.

“It was a commercial establishment, but divided in two,” he said. “One part had the machines where people play, to the other part, which seems to be the money side of the operation.”

Three of the four detained employees will face accusations, including Randy Hinojosa, Jason Garcia and Jacqueline Gonzalez.

The sheriff’s office has taken the promotion of the game, keeping a place of play, possession of a game accessory and the crime charges organized against the game against the trio.

The fourth employee, Jeannete Zavala, would have refused entry to the property and was seen from the “locking doors” to dissuade access from the authorities.

The county of Bexar reprimands the game den

Salazar said: “As for legal reasons, they (Royal Room 777) were trying to keep a certain separation between the two. We also plan to file a possible commitment to organized criminal activities.”

The eighteen players in the game establishment have all received class C quotes, which is an offense in the state of Texas.

The Sheriff of the county of Bexar said that the two establishments were trying to bypass the legal gaps in the state legislature with the distance between the play and payment spaces.

“You are playing here, but you do not receive payment here; they (Royal Room 777) give you a token to switch to the next company and buy this token against a cash payment. This is what makes it illegal,” continued the sheriff.

The Sheriff’s Bureau of the county of Bexar is now looking for the owner or owners of the establishment as part of a wider case.

“We know that this is a busy business center, and we ask people to be patient with us while we are doing this,” concluded Salazar.

In related news, the Florida Gaming Control Commission (FGCC) carried out an important crisis of 249 illegal slot machines and $ 194 2,62 in “suspicious games” in Port Richey.

“Illegal casinos are not part of the regulated games in Florida. These operations exploit vulnerable individuals, create an unequal playing field for legitimate companies and provide crimes and unwanted disorders to the communities in which they operate, “said the Director of the Application of Games at FGCC, Carol Herold.
