Neymar hits Ancelotti after being excluded from the Brazil team

Neymar minimized fitness problems after being excluded from the Brazilian team for this week’s World Cup qualifications, contradicting the explanation of head coach Carlo Ancelotti.
Ancelotti had suggested that a “minor injury” was behind the attacker’s omission, stressing the need for players to be in perfect condition.
But speaking after having finished 90 minutes in Santos’ draw 0-0 with Fluminense on Sunday, Neymar insisted that the decision was purely technical.
“It was swelling in my adductor, a little discomfort, but nothing serious, so much so that I played today,” said Neymar.
“I was left out for technical reasons, that has nothing to do with my physical condition. This is the opinion of the coach and I respect him. ”
The 32 -year -old man, who returned to the Santos childhood club earlier this year after a fate in Saudi Arabia with Al Hilal, has not presented for Brazil since 2023.
Brazil will face Chile on Wednesday before going to Bolivia next week, with the Ancelotti team currently third in the classification of Conmebol, at the level of the points with the equator and the leaders of Chasing Argentina.
Ancelotti called a front line of 25 men who includes Stephen, Gabriel Martinelli, João Pedro, Raphinha, Richarlison and Matheus Cunha.
