The films and shows that you should broadcast in September 2025

A new era of streaming selections is there. In recent years, our monthly column, The Nerd’s Watch, has been the perfect place to discover all the best gender titles with the greatest streaming services. It was not a complete list. We have just published the titles we think you would care about, but it was still long, and frankly, it was difficult to choose the best of the best.

The Amazing Spider-Man And The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (September 1 on Netflix)
Whether we will see Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man in a future Marvel film, it is always pleasant to come back to these films, as imperfect as they are. He and Emma Stone were so perfect that their characters, and the casting of the bad guys was a good higher level.
And the alien (September 1 on Netflix)
After attending a recent concert of John Williams’s music, I said to myself: “I need to review AND As soon as possible. “And now Netflix has made it very easy.
Edge of tomorrow (September 1 on Netflix)
If you have already read this column, thank you first. Second, you might know my rule that each time Edge of tomorrow Appears on a new streaming service, I proceed to let you know. And so it happens. And again. Just like the film itself.
The racing man (September 1 on Netflix)
Before seeing the version of Edgar Wright and Glen Powell of this story of Stephen King, return to the past to see the original version of Arnold Schwarzenegger from 1987. It’s a lot of fun.
THE Shrek Series (September 1 on Netflix and Peacock)
Maybe it’s because Shrek Finally returns to theaters in a few years, but I had the impression that it was good service journalism to let you know that the series – consist of Shrek, Shrek 2, Shrek the third, And Shrek forever after– is streaming in two places this month.

Idiocracy (September 28 on Netflix)
A documentary on our modern world, from the spirit of Mike Judge.
THE Night at the museum Series (September 1 on Hulu)
The combination of Shawn Levy currently spinning a Star Wars The film and the second of these films having Dark Vader made me think that it was worth putting on the list. Night at the museum, night at the museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, And Night at the museum: secret of the grave All arrived and, frankly, they are super fun.
First World War (September 1 on Hulu and Paramount +)
Recently named named First World War As a franchise, he wants to leave in the future, so it seems that the moment could be the right time for a rewatch.
Ghostbusters: answer the call (September 26 on Hulu)
I can have shit for that, but I don’t care. This is the Paul Feig version, 2016 of Ghosts. I saw it recently and I found it just as funny, if not more, than when I saw it for the first time. He obtained a bad representative for certain reasons, but we think that this film is much more in tune with what made the original films so good than the follow -up too nostalgic. Give him another blow.
Lilo & Stitch (September 3 on Disney +)
The biggest film of the year streaming, and although it has its problems, for the most part, it is a delicious adaptation and update of the classic animated film. If you were in interest but you missed it in the rooms, certainly check it.

Lego Star Wars: reconstruct the galaxy: parts of the past (September 19 on Disney +)
It will take a while before getting a new Star Wars Show Disney +, but in the meantime, these Lego specials that reinvent all the fabric of the galaxy are a ton of pleasure.
Disney +: Marvel Zombies (September 24 on Disney +)
Speaking of specials that reinvent the entire fabric of the galaxy, Marvel also has this month. And Marvel zombies promises to have a lot, a lot of surprises.
Evil Dead II (September 1 on HBO Max)
There is always a debate on which of Sam Raimi Bad The films are the best. And although they are all incredible, our vote is for Badly dead II. It’s almost the perfect balance of the slightly more horror original and the third slightly more comedy film. Just a perfect movie.
Your name (September 1 on HBO Max)
If you have never seen Your nameyou have to look Your name. It is one of the best animated films of all time. Pure Magic Cinema at its best, and he joins an impressive range of Japanese animation in HBO Max this month. Actually…
So much more Japanese animation (September 1st on HBO Max)
In addition to Your nameAs well as almost all Ghibli studio movies, HBO Max adds a bunch of new anime to its already robust catalog. Among the new additions are Children who hunt lost voices, fireworks, fortune promotes Lady Nikuko, Ghost Cat Anzu, Solitaire Château in the Mirror, Love and Pop, the place promised at our beginningsand more.

Artificial Intelligence of AI (September 1 on Paramount +)
We wrote about it recently when he was not streaming, but now he is streaming, so you can read and catch up.
THE Blade Trilogy (September 1st on Paramount +)
Will the Marvel studios never do this Mahershala Ali Blade movie? Didn’t that put Wesley Snipes as a blade in a film last year? Everything is confusing. But what is not confusing is that you can broadcast Blade, blade II, And Blade: trinity Everything on a service, from today.
THE Friday 13 Franchise (September 1st on Paramount +)
The eight original films in the Friday 13 The franchise returns to their home on Paramount +. Perfect for a weekend at Camp Crystal Lake.
THE From twilight to dawn Trilogy (September 1st on Paramount +)
If we are honest, you can ignore that there are more From twilight to dawn movie. The first film is great; Monitoring, less. But, if you look at the original and think: “What is the next step?”, You can see two other films.
Galaxy Quest (September 1 on Paramount +)
Without doubt the greatest science fiction comedy of all time. This Star Trek Parody with Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver, Alan Rickman, and so many others are just a delight.

Frightening (September 1 on Paramount +)
THE Scary film The franchise returns to theaters and, to celebrate, Paramount added not only the first Scary filmBut also parts 2 and 3. I do not think they are getting closer to the original, but they have their fans.
The monster team (September 1 on Paramount +)
One of my favorite personal films of all time is this story to dotted and out of a group of adolescents who form a group to defeat the collected power of universal monsters. If you’ve never seen it, check it. Just protect your “nards”.
American psycho (September 1 on thrill)
“Do you like Huey Lewis and the news?”
Terrifier 3 (September 1 on Peacock)
The release of Terrifier 3 I made me an instant fan of the Gross-out franchise. So much so that I looked at them in the opposite order after the fact. I do not recommend it, but if you are looking for something horrible and hilarious, it is your answer.
The thing (September 1 on Paramount +)
What “thing?” Well, two of them. The film John Carpenter of 1982, which is the best known, as well as the 2011 follow -up, which is not as good but which has its moments.
