The Modi of India has “perceptive” talks in Putin limousine

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi says he had a “insightful” exchange with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of a summit in China.
The two leaders spent 45 minutes inside the Russian leader’s car – after which Modi published a photo of their trip alongside the compliment to Putin.
“They were at home … They felt comfortable there, and that is why they continued the conversation,” said Putin spokesperson.
The meeting came after handling scenes between the pair because they were organized by the Chinese XINPING for the summit of the Shanghai cooperation organization, which is considered a challenge for US President Donald Trump and American domination worldwide.

Trump imposed 50% American prices on India goods to punish Delhi for buying Russian oil and weapons.
Prices – among the highest in the world – include a 25% penalty for transactions with Russia, which is a key fund for its war in Ukraine.
India, an American vital strategic partner in Indo-Pacific, has shown no signs of stopping its purchases, and camaraderie with Putin in Tianjin is seen in the context of Trump threats.
The United States was, until recently, India’s largest trading partner.
For her part, Putin faced a delay issued by Trump to accept peace talks with the president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.
Russia said there were no plans for such a meeting.
Speaking at the summit in Tianjin, Putin thanked the Chinese and Indian leaders for their support and their efforts to “facilitate the resolution of the Ukrainian crisis”.
In her speech, Putin also said that “understanding affected” during her meeting with Trump in Alaska last month were “I hope, moving in this direction, paving the way for peace in Ukraine”.
Putin launched a large -scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
On August 22, Trump said he gave Putin “a few weeks” to give an answer before the United States took action.
It was the last in a series of ultimatums and deadlines that he delivered to the Russian leader, who ignored them.
Trump had previously declared that he could resolve the Ukraine war in one day.
