The soundbar in the aspect of the middle of the century of Marshall would cause tears of joy to Don Draper.

The Marshall range of quality non -rockstar audio equipment has become a little larger. As part of IFA 2025, the company announced the Heston 60, a more compact sound bar which completes its previously published Heston 120. As usual, Marshall keeps things in the middle of the century with a design that invokes its classic amplifiers and includes touch controls (PU buttons instead of buttons like those used on the Heston 120), the touch fabric (PU Leather. It also comes from cream or black, but if you do not buy the cream version, you are mistaken in my opinion.

Although the look is especially the same as the heston 120, apart from the buttons (those who are disappointed are gone, by the way), there are key differences between the two bars of his. On the one hand, the Heston 60 is much more compact, which makes it ideal for anyone with less room, although you will get less boom for your money. The Heston 60 has seven amplifiers compared to the 11 amplifiers of Heston 120. It is much quieter at 56 W of total power, against 150 W of advanced power. For most people, it will be more than enough, however, and despite the less powerful sound, the Heston 60 has other tips in its sleeve.

An interesting feature is that the Heston 60 can be mounted on the wall or set to a television stand thanks to specially designed wave guides and inclined pilots. Depending on whether the Heston 60 is mounted or not, you can return reversible control depending on the orientation of the sound bar and even move the Marshall logo, which is magnetic. My favorite thing about this soundbar is probably that it really looks at repairability. According to Marshall, the Heston 60 has a multitude of replaceable pieces, including the Frette (the grill in a speaker), the final caps, the drivers and the printed circuit cards, which include some of the most important parts of any soundbar.

Regarding connectivity, the Heston 60 should occasionally increase, with HDMI 2.1 EARC, a 3.5 mm and Bluetooth 5.3 socket. It is also compatible with AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect. There are also several modes for specific situations. Although music and film modes are simple, the modes of voice and nocturnal are rather interesting. The vocal mode accentuates dialogue in films (for all these subtitles of people), and the night mode works in fact to attenuate the strong sound effects and keep the dialogue listened to so that you do not wake up all the fucking house.

If you are wondering where your low -end comes from, Marshall also launches a subwoofer, the Heston Sub 200, which borrows a similar energy from the Heston 60. There is the same look in the middle of the AMP -inspired century, and the Heston Sub 200 is just as repairable. It is also wireless, which is good if you are like me and you hate stuffing a pile of cables behind your sofa, even if you will never see them. The submarine will connect with the Heston 120 if you already have the largest sound bar in Marshall. As is the case with the previous Marshall participant in the sound space, neither the heston 60 nor the heston sub 200 will be cheap. The two will be officially launched on September 23 for $ 699 and $ 599, respectively.
