The JBL Boombox 4 speaker can pump less distorted sound thanks to AI

Sometimes you need a Bluetooth speaker that will eliminate people’s socks, not necessarily in terms of audio quality (although it is good too), but in a pure and useless volume. For JBL fans, there is a wireless speaker who holds this promise in a package that is not total pain in the ass to be transported, and it is the Boombox, which has just obtained its fourth version and some important upgrades to start at IFA 2025.
The highest point here, according to JBL, is that the Boombox 4 gives you more for less, at least in the weight department. While JBL has shaved two pounds on the Boombox 4 compared to the latest generation, it also has a 50% more exit than its predecessor. Coupled with JBL Boost Sound Boost, the company claims that the speaker should also provide more production while minimizing the distortion.
You should know that this speaker is still 13 pounds, so this is not something you want to transport for long periods. JBL says that the Boombox 4 has two additional woofers and three passive radiators this time for a total of 210 W of power. The Boombox 3, for reference, 180 W of total power when it is connected, but 136W when it operates on battery.

Even with this increase in energy, JBL says that the Boombox 4 should offer solid autonomy, with 28 hours of juice regularly and 34 hours if the JBL game boost function is activated. One thing I like here is that the battery is replaceable now, which is ideal for longevity. No more replaceable batteries in gadgets, please! Two other pleasant keys include the possibility of connecting to an external device via USB-C for loss-free audio (a big problem for audiophiles among us) and an enlightened JBL logo that allows you to know when the loudspeaker’s bass boost is activated. The JBL Boombox 4 is available for pre -order now and starts at $ 549.95. The speaker is planned for complete release on September 28.

If you are looking for even more power, JBL also presents a new edition of its JBL Partybox. Partybox 720 – A party speaker that makes the Boombox 4 cute – has an 800 W of power. It is the same power as the Partybox 710 speaker, but the Woofers Partybox 720 are 9 inches compared to the 8-inch Woofers on the 710. The biggest change here is that the partybox can now work on a battery rather than having to be connected. Oh, there are also wider wheels this time, which should make the Bluetooth speaker that shakes the house much easier. JBL’s Partybox 720 is available for pre -order now at a first price price of $ 1,099 and will be published wide on September 21.
