A dead person after shooting and pulled the Michigan Michigan church

At least one person died and nine other people are injured after a shooting and a fire in a Michigan Mormigan church, local police.

The officials said that there was an active shooter incident at the church of Jesus Christ of the Holy Days of Grand White, a city at 60 miles (96 km) northwest of Detroit on Sunday morning.

“There are several victims and the shooter has broken down,” said the police. The authorities have not yet identified the suspect or disclose a reason.

The police department of the canton of Grand Blanc said that there was no more threat to the public and that the fire had been contained.

The American prosecutor General Pam Bondi said in an article on X that she had received information sessions on “which seems to be a horrible shot and a fire” in the church.

She added that the FBI and alcohol, tobacco, firearms and explosives agents were on the scene.

“Such violence in a place of worship is heartbreaking and frightening,” said Bondi. “Please join me to pray for the victims of this terrible tragedy.”

FBI director Kash Patel confirmed in a statement that federal agents are on the way to help local authorities. He called the incident “a loose and criminal act”.

In a separate declaration, the governor of Michigan, Gretchen Whitmer, said: “Violence everywhere, especially in a place of worship, is unacceptable”, adding that it was monitoring the situation.
