Aid Group says that workers killed by the Israeli army in attack on Gaza HQ

Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) accused Israeli forces of attacking its head office in Gaza, killing a worker and injuring three others.
The humanitarian organization said that the attack “had sparked a fire in the building” at the early hours of Sunday morning.
Describing the night attack against the installation of the southern city of Khan Younis as “deliberate”, the red crescent said that the location of its seat was “well known” from the Israeli army and is “clearly marked with the protective red emblem”.
The Israeli Defense Forces (FDI) said that it had “no knowledge of artillery or air strikes” when asked for the BBC on the accusation.
A video shared by the Red Crescent on Social Networks has shown parts of the fire building and filled with smoke clouds, while the photos of suites showed heavy damage to the building and several large blood spots.
In a press release, the help agency appointed the worker killed as Omar Isleem and said he had “the broken heart” of his death. He said two other workers had been injured, as well as a civilian who was trying to turn off the fire.
“It was not an error,” added the red crescent. “We are renewing our call for responsibility and for the protection of all humanitarian and medical staff.”
The incident occurs in warnings about the humanitarian situation in Gaza. The latest figures from the United Nations indicate that at least 1,373 Palestinians were killed in search of food since the end of May.
The majority were killed by Israeli soldiers near the humanitarian foundations (GHF) distribution sites supported by the United States and the United States, according to the UN. The GHF denies the UN figure of at least 859 killed near its sites.
Israel accused Hamas of causing chaos near aid centers and says that its forces do not intentionally open fire on civilians.
Meanwhile, the Egyptian state media reported that two trucks containing essential fuel are waiting to enter Gaza.
Doctors warn against shortages in vital medical facilities for weeks, after Israel started a blockade of every month of all aid and all goods in Gaza.
This has since been partially raised, but humanitarian agencies have said that more aid should be allowed to enter Gaza to prevent famine and malnutrition.
The Ministry of Health managed by Hamas said 175 people, including 93 children, died from malnutrition.
Israel denies that it deliberately blocks the aid of aid to Gaza and accuses the UN and other aid agencies not to deliver it.
The FDI launched a campaign in Gaza in response to the attack led by Hamas against southern Israel on October 7, 2023, during which around 1,200 people were killed and 251 others were taken hostage.
More than 60,000 people have since been killed in Gaza, according to the Ministry of Health.
