Alexander Isak says he is “eternally grateful” in Newcastle after his departure for Liverpool

Alexander Isak published a statement in which he says he is “eternally grateful” in Newcastle after his controversial release in Liverpool.
Isak’s worried display with the Tyneside Club ended yesterday with the champions of the Premier League Liverpool paying for British record costs of £ 125 to sign the Swedish international.
He left a bitter fans base, but Isak went to Instagram this afternoon to offer his thanks after three years in St James’ Park.
He wrote: “I want to express my gratitude to my teammates, to staff, and especially to the city of Newcastle and to all the incredible supporters for the three unforgettable years that we have shared together.
“Together, we wrote the story and brought the club to the place where it really belongs. It was an honor to be part of the Champions League trip to the victory of the first trophy in more than 70 years.
“Forever grateful. Thank you, Newcastle.”
The message is accompanied by a video that shows a compilation of Isak’s objectives as well as images of the celebrations that followed their EFL Cup victory on Liverpool earlier this year.
Isak probably doesn’t win on Furious Newcastle Fanbase
Isak is currently in international service, but it is very unlikely that his message condemns supporters who are always furious at the way he manipulated during the last stages of his career in Newcastle.
The 25 -year -old made public his desire to leave, the boss Eddie Howe ordered him to train alone and he was not envisaged for the first three games of the Premier League of the season, of which Newcastle won.
It was described as “rat” by supporters on social networks, the term being also used on banners which appeared around St James’ Park.
Gordon and Botman stay for Isak
Today he received support messages from two former Newcastle teammates, however, Sven Botman and Anthony Gordon sending their best wishes.
The Netherlands International Botman wrote on Instagram: “What started while teammates developed in one of my rare best friendships. More necessary words, all the best in your next chapter @alex_isak (sic).”
This feeling was supported by the English winger Gordon, who posted: “Whatever the situation and what happened. It was a pleasure to play with you.
“One of the best chemies I had on the ground, and more importantly, a great person and a teammate.
“I only wish you the best brother.”
Isak’s agent Vlado Lemi took a different tone, aimed at what seemed to be a separation from Newcastle.
In a message sent to Talksport, Lemi said: “It’s good when you have someone with whom to be, but it’s even more pleasant when you know who you will never be with.”
