“And then Mrs. Dhoni dropped me aside …”: Virender Sehwag admits by considering the early retirement of the ODI

Virender Sehwag revealed a little -known chapter of his cricket trip – one where he approached his retirement from the international internationals after being abandoned by the captain of then Mrs Dona.

Six months later, Sehwag returned with a blow in the Kitply Cup, amassing 150 points in three matches, including two half-century. This resurgence cemented its place in the side and prepared the field for its role in the triumph of the World Cup in 2011 of India, where it scored 380 points at a typing rate of 122.58.
