BBC correspondent on stage by Lisbon Funicular Crash

At least 17 people were killed after a funicular railway derailed and hit a building in the capital of Portugal Lisbon.

More than 20 other people were injured, including four Portuguese, two German nationals and two nationals – the authorities say that a three -year -old child was also injured.

Local police are investigating the cause of the accident.
