Belgium appoints new members to a six -year service in the game committee

The King of Belgium confirmed the 12 new members of the game regulations at the service of the Gaming Commission for the next six years.
King Philippe of Belgium confirmed the names of the 12 members of the game regulations, which should be used for Kansspelcommissie, or the game committee, for the next six years. The list of 12 people includes six full members and six substitutes.
Five ministers represent the various ranks of the Commission through finances, justice, the economy, the interior and public health, each ministry providing a Dutch representative and a French -speaking representative. The last two slots are allocated to the Ministry of Finance, because it is responsible for the national lottery.
Who are the ministers of the Belgian game committee?
The four representatives of the Ministry of Finance are therefore Anne-Laure Mouligneaux, Ignace Vandewalle, Caroline Dujacquier and Tom Van Caeckenberghe. The first two, as full members of the Commission, will supervise the financial aspects of the game’s regulation and will ensure the compliance of operators, while their colleagues represent the Ministry of Finance in its role as boss of the National Lottery and comply with the lottery side.
This comes at an instrumental time in Belgium, because the government is updating its national regulations.
For the other ministries, Nathalie Pateoussa and Daisy Vervenne will represent the Ministry of Justice, Ferdinand Van Der Gracht and Lena Boons will represent the Minister of Public Health, Michaël Stokard and Sahin Yazici will represent the Minister of the Economy, and Stéphane Obéid and Béatrice Vossen will represent the Minister of Interorior.
Each set of representatives will lead on questions relevant to their sector, taking the impact of the game on the economy, people’s public health – including damage linked to the game – and the impact on public order. Many of these problems could cross. For example, Belgium is working on the limitation of game advertisements nationwide, while there are also financial considerations to be made on the impact on football clubs without sponsorship.
