Netflix has published a new trailer for Wake upThe last chapter of the mystery series by Rian Johnson with Benoit Blanc, the largest detective in the world of ambiguous southern southern. Take a look:

As evidenced by the trailer, the story concerns an apparently supernatural “impossible” locked mystery, evoking the great works of John Dickson Carr, Seishi Yokomizo and Hanna-Barbera. It is exciting in itself, as the sub-genre has it long been considered radioactive in Hollywood for having been difficult for extremely difficult to manufacture, requiring long scenes of distribution dialogue to come from all angles, and to be just a bit a bit Scooby-doo. However, Wake up what Scooby-doo would find taboo by adding a dead priest to the mixture and, by proxy, to narrative gravity.

Naturally, Catholic horror has been up since the exit of The exorcist in 1973 – just two months after Dick Van Dyke spread to the final of the series of the series of New Scooby-Doo films, incidentally. The writer-director Johnson officially wrote the code on the collection of a budget of $ 210 million to hire a casting of actors on the list A to play in what is essentially a more disaster version of Gober and ghost hunters by way of The murders of the rosary. Alleluia.

And what a casting we have! In addition to Daniel Craig who returns for his third outing as Benoit Blanc, we have Josh O’Connor as a young priest, Reverend Jud Duplenticy; Glenn closed as a guardian of the dedicated church Martha Delacroix; Josh Brolin as Fiery Monssignor Jefferson Wicks; Mila Kunis as police chief Geraldine Scott; Jeremy Renner as a doctor of the city Nat Sharp; Kerry Washington as a Tendu Verra Draven lawyer; Andrew Scott as an author celebrates Lee Ross; Caiee Spaeny as a former concert rape Simone Vivane; Daryl McCormack aspiring politician Cy Draven; And Thomas Haden Church as a field guard named Samson Holt.
