Justin Kluivert says Bournemouth are dreaming of European qualification after scoring a hat-trick in a 4-1 win at Newcastle.
The Dutchman’s impressive performance at St James’ Park lifted the Cherries up to sixth place in the Premier League.
Andoni Iraola’s men have been making a remarkable push in the top half for a long time now and are currently unbeaten in 11 games.
But for Kluivert, their form is no surprise and he says qualifying for Europe was always the Cherries’ goal.

He told TNT Sports: “It feels good. We know it’s difficult to play here. Coming here with so many injuries and managing like this – hats off to the team.
“I want to help my team, and be important to the club. Our pace is beautiful and we have shown that we are here to impress.
“At the beginning of the season, we have a lot of interested players in the team, you want to play in Europe and we are showing it.
“Why not dream big and we don’t know where we can end up. The Champions League may be very difficult but who knows?”
Bournemouth were deserved winners at St James’ Park, surprising the winners of their last nine games in all competitions.

Antoine Semenyo, who also impressed, added to the Premier League’s production: “It was crazy from us.
“We just knew we had to control the press and if we did that we would get a chance and as you saw in a few goals we got the press well and got the three points.
“We knew he had a moment in the back and we wanted to find the back. Once the goalkeeper went through the center back, that’s what we set out to do and we did it.
“Justin’s finish was special. He is a top player for us. It was a well-deserved hat-trick.”
Their 11-game unbeaten run is particularly impressive considering the number of injuries they are dealing with at the moment, with Evanilson and Enes Unal recently ruled out for the rest of the season.
The semenyo added: “It’s all about ideas. Our thoughts are very strong, we are mentally strong. we go through all these hard times and injuries but we know together that we can do it and no one can tell us otherwise.
“We’re doing game by game without forcing ourselves.”
