Activision Blizzard and Microsoft Call of duty The franchise could be successful on the big screen.

According to Matt Belloni de Puck, Paramount is currently negotiating cinematographic rights on the longtime shooting series. Obtaining this IP would be a “difficult priority” for the new chief of Paramount David Ellison, because it would be another major game property in the studio portfolio after Sonic the hedgehog. There is a new Call of duty Game annually – Treyarch and Raven Black ops 7 Land in November – and generally among the best -selling titles of each year.

In 2015, Activision Blizzard opened a movie studio to launch a Call of duty Cinematographic universe, starting with a film that has never materialized. The publisher has not tried to make a film since then, because he has known a few years. But now it is part of Xbox, which slowly adopts adaptations: with the now Halo Watch, there is a Gears of War Film to come and an obsidian -based television show Based. (Blizzard games Overwatch And Diablo Shows have also had shows, but the developer’s agreement with Netflix failed.))

What is a Call of duty The film looks like? This is a good question, because the series jumped between various real and fictitious wars during its 21 -year -old life, from the Second World War to the modern day and the distant future. (Do not forget the one that takes place in space!) Or failing, it could always take the simplest road as possible and make a film based on zombie or still popular Warzone modes.
