Mohamed Salah, Alexis Mac Allister and Harvey Elliott pushed the kicks for Liverpool while Crystal Palace won the Wembley stadium for the second time in three months with a 3-2 victory in penalties after a 2-2 draw in the 2025 community armor.

The new signatures of Liverpool, Hugo Ekitike and Jeremie Frimpong, struck on each side of the penalty of Jean-Philippe Mateta while the teams exchanged three goals in the first 22 minutes.
