Couple looking for children who have disappeared after the floods of India

Veer Singh and Kali Devi, the two construction workers had gone to a neighboring village to buy races when sudden floods hit their house in the state of northern Uttarakhand.

Their family – three sons, a daughter -in -law and two grandchildren – have since been missing.

They are among the 100 disappeared people after the deadly floods devastated the village of Dharali on Tuesday.

Uttarakhand, which is located in western Himalayas, is very vulnerable to sudden floods and landslides.
