Jeffrey Epstein’s scandal continues to seduce the Trump administration, and Wednesday, an eminent Democratic senator called for congress to investigate financial ties between the dead sex criminal and a multitude of financial organizations and people, including the technological billionaire Peter Thiel.

A large part of the debate on “Epstein files” focused on the recordings that the Ministry of Justice can have on its illicit sexual crimes, but, according to Senator Ron Wyden (D-eargon), the most important files can in fact be at the service of trade, where the evidence of the financial activities of the dead financier seem to link it to a wide variety of people and influential and influential institutions.

According to Wyden, one of these people is Thiel, whose venture capital company has already taken a large amount of money from the dead financier. In June, the New York Times reported that in 2015 and 2016, shortly before his death, Epstein had invested some 40 million dollars with a company that Thiel had co -founded, Valar Ventures. Like many other Thiel societies, Valar takes its name from the myth of Jrr Tolkien.

The news that Thiel’s company had a non -insignificant relationship with Epstein was interesting, since, in public, Thiel tended to speak of Epstein in fairly abstract terms. While Thiel admitted that he had met Epstein a few times, he always gave the impression that he did not know him very well. Last year, Thiel continued on Joe Rogan’s podcast and spent a lot of time talking about Epstein, although mainly to highlight the dead financier links with a number of left -wing technology leaders, such as Microsoft Mogul Bill Gates and the billionaire of Linkedin Reid Hoffman. He also tried to link Epstein crimes to the world of “left philanthropy”.

Wednesday, Wyden presented legislation that would force the government to produce documents related to Epstein’s financial activities. Wyden’s office has announced:

After new revelations about the deep and long-term relations of Jeffrey Epstein with JP Morgan, member of the Senate Finance Committee, Ron Wyden, D-ear., Presented today the product of the Epstein Treasury Records law (Petra) to force the records of the Treasury in the Senate. The staff of the Finance Committee examined a large part of these files in person in the Treasury Department in 2024. Senator Wyden sought to obtain the complete whole for a more in -depth investigation, but Bessent repeatedly refused to produce them to the Committee and minimized their importance.

Thiel and Valar Ventures are only two of the dozens of people and entities that Wyden has suggested being the subject of an investigation into their financial links with Epstein. The list includes several banks (including those eminent Western as HSBC, Citibank and Wells Fargo, and Russian banks like Alfabank and Sberbank), the billionaire of investment capital Leon Black (who, Wyden stressed several times, gave $ 170 million to Epstein for “tax councils” Abnormal to pay for tax councils ”and the senerator, the fashion for the abnormal industry to pay for the tax councils”) and the Jan-Luc Brunle. Scout who, in 2022, was, like Epstein, found dead in a prison cell, had apparently hanged.

At the time of his death, Brunel was held suspected of having provided Epstein with minor girls. Alan Dershowitz, the great power lawyer, who represented Epstein, and whose name appears in the famous “Birthday Book”, was also included in the list, which represented Epstein, and whose name appears in the famous “Biver Book” of Epstein.

Wyden, who chairs the Senate finance committee, has spent the last years trying to bring the government to probe the trails in Epstein cash. He began his investigation into Epstein’s financial documents in 2022. In June, Wyden wrote to the prosecutor general of Trump, Pam Bondi, asking him why he had not followed the promise of Trump’s campaign to be radically transparent with regard to Epstein files: “This administration began with promises to reject that the case of Epstein would receive Allows… contains little relevant or revolutionary information, with certain fully expounded pages, ”wrote the senator.

In July, Wyden developed what he called a “plan” to “follow the money”. This plan could be used by the Ministry of Justice to investigate Epstein’s financial relations, he argued. MJ prosecutors and FBI investigators could start by probe information from the trade department on “thousands of transfers and more than $ 1 billion in and outside Epstein accounts, which all deserve a more in -depth investigation.”

The Ministry of Justice has of course did nothing of this. Instead, he recently declared war on a “radical genre and racial ideology” in American public schools. Gizmodo contacted Thiel through his Palantir office, as well as to the Commerce Department and the Ministry of Justice.
