After announcing the release of its new family of flagship models, GPT-5, Openai said that the model will feed any chatgpt, and that it will flow the existing models in the cat platform.
OPENAI, through a spokesperson, told Venturebeat that GPT-5 “would replace all other chatgpt models, so that users do not have to choose according to each task, which takes effect once you have access to GPT-5.” This means that people can no longer choose GPT-4O, O3, O4-Mini or O4-Mini-High.

Other users have claimed to have developed “a connection” with their chosen model and found a demo in the live announcement asking GPT-4O to write its own unpleasant praise.
