Donnarumma ready for the “best world league” before the beginnings of Man City

Gianluigi Donnarumma says he is impatient to prove himself in the “best League in the world” after joining Manchester City in Paris Saint-Germain on the day of the deadline.
The Italian international has signed a five -year agreement with City in a transfer worth around 30 million euros and spent Thursday to settle before connecting with his national team.
“(It’s) a new chapter in my life and my career,” said Donnarumma. “Playing in the Premier League with Manchester City is a great emotion for me and I am ready for this challenge.
“I always dreamed of playing in the Premier League because it is the best league in the world. For a player, I think that realizing in the Premier League is the maximum for his career, so I am really happy to be here.
“I am ready to take on the field for this club, which tried so much to sign me and I hope to be able to reimburse this confidence.”
The 26 -year -old won the Champions League and four Ligue 1 titles with PSG, but Luis Enrique was informed that he was no longer the first choice.
He could make his debut on Sunday in the Manchester derby at Etihad.
“It’s a club that has always fascinated me,” added Donnarumma. “The buildings and the staff here are fantastic, so I’m proud to be here and happy with the choice I made and I hope I will make the story here and win as many trophies as possible.”
City aims to bounce back after finishing third last season, ending its sequence of four consecutive titles in the Premier League. With Pep Guardiola reshaping his team, Donnarumma should play a major role to replace Ederson.
“I am fully focusing on my new challenge here now to make the story here and become a symbol for the city and for the club,” he said.
“But above all to make fans proud and win a lot of trophies together because it is a historic club and deserves to be as high as possible.”
